Lazy Daisy was formed in 1973 by two ladies who wanted a club that was fun and productive. Our members share a common bond in our love of beautiful flowers, plants gardens and a desire to beautify our community.
Lazy Daisy meets the 4th Friday of each month, September through May at 9:30 a.m. We meet in the homes of our members where we enjoy socializing over a coffee/brunch or a light lunch, along with informative programs on gardening, flower arranging, hummingbirds and other out-of-doors topics. Our yearly schedule always includes a Christmas Coffee, and an end of-the-year party in May to which husbands are invited. We are also a civic-minded group, in 2007, creating 54 beautiful bouquets for Rosewood Manor Nursing Home. Our wonderful scrapbooks chronicling our clubs’ activities have gained both local and state recognition.
Because we meet in private homes, our club membership is set and currently closed at 30 members.
