Pensacola Federation of Garden Clubs

A Place for Everyone

Gone are the days of formal attire, hats, and gloves. Today’s garden club members come together to share a love of flowers and plants, with a strong focus on environmental stewardship. Our members, who come from diverse backgrounds, make sustainable choices to conserve water, minimize pesticide use, and positively impact the environment through their home gardens, balconies, and community spaces. Our welcoming community includes locals and newcomers, men and women of all ages—from the young to the young at heart—both retired and employed, as well as “diggers and designers” alike. United by a shared passion for plants and a desire to learn, our members thrive together.

A Lifetime of Educational Opportunities

Garden Club membership offers endless opportunities for learning and growth. From engaging speakers at local meetings and District events to educational exhibits at State Conventions, there is always something new to discover. Members can participate in hands-on activities such as flower shows, clerking at fairs, horticulture study groups, and floral design workshops, with some even pursuing certification as Flower Show Judges. Community involvement is at the heart of our club, with volunteer opportunities at PFGC fundraisers and special events, offering a chance to earn recognition at the State or National level. With over 150 educational programs available each year—including Circle/Club meetings, District events, workshops, and shows—members have a wealth of experiences to choose from.
